C 35

The tube amplifier TAC K-35 stands for excellent sound and an excellent price performance ratio. It was only a logical consequence to provide this device with an adequate source. We succeeded with the TAC C-35. Obliged to the sound a CD player was created, which not only outwardly meets the highest standards. Under the dress of aluminum and acrylic hides the experience of over 15 years of device development and production. Since the Tube Amp Company TAC stands for consistent tube use in the signal branch, the C-35 some tubes were placed in the sound paths. So a 6N10 does the job of operating the headphone out. Tube sound so here too. The other two 12AX7 are in the signal path and work in the audio output.

With the PCM1732 works in the digital part of a proven decoder from Burr Brown. Designed for high-end audio applications, this circuit operates at a sampling rate of 24-bit / 96kHz, enabling High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) to be read out. What happens in the C-35 too. The 8x oversampling completes the very good features of the decoder. As already mentioned, the analog signals are routed via tubes and processed. The result is a very fine height resolution and very good spatiality.
